Air Rifle Target Shooting

Air Rifle Target Shooting is available seven days a week, located at Terrace Downs High Country Resort on the banks of the Rakaia Gorge near Methven.

Have a go with your mates, family (children to be aged 10 years and over), work colleagues, and see who the best marksman is. Challenge them to a shoot out and see who claims the most hits.
Newzengland Ltd is an outdoor activity in Canterbury that opens rain or shine! Please bring appropriate sturdy footwear and warm clothing.

PRICING INFORMATION

$50.00 per person. Minimum of 30 minutes.

Bookings essential.

We enforce a strict cancellation policy if you cancel or reschedule within 24 hours of your booking.

Safety

Safety is of paramount importance.

When shooting eyewear is recommended to be worn. Safety glasses are provided.

The seven basic rules set by the NZ Police are also covered:

  1. Treat every firearm as loaded
  2. Always point firearm in a safe direction
  3. Load a firearm only when ready to fire
  4. Identify your target beyond all doubt
  5. Check your firing zone
  6. Store firearms and ammunition safely
  7. Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

These rules and others are always taught!

Cancellation Policy

Last minute cancellations and no shows really affect our business. We know that last minute emergencies can arise and we will be understanding of these. Cancellations within 24 hours or no shows will incur a 100% fee of the total price. Thank you for your understanding.
